The album follows his Thug Motivation series that began with the first Lets Get It: Thug Motivation 101 in 2005 and The Inspiration: Thug Motivation 102 in 2006. The opus falls under Jeezy’s Corporate Thugz Entertainment that is a subsidiary of Def Jam records. The rapper announced the release date for his fourth studio album in May 2011 after working on the project for almost two years. Thug motivation 103 is the forthcoming album by rap star Young Jeezy that follows his 2009 effort The Recession.
